<p><strong>ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES</strong></p>

<p>Board Present: Mike Wilson,Gwen Paul, Joey Ratterman, April Goldschmidt, Larry Wade and Mike Long</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Absent: John Mingus, Lenny Hughes and Debbi Spafford</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Call to order:  President Mike Wilson welcome all in attendance.  He called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Mr. Wilson introduced himself and welcomed those in attendance and thanked everyone for coming to the meeting.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Mr. Wilson appointed Larry Wade to assist George Armstrong to be the teller to open, count and record the ballots.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The September 29, 2022 annual minutes were reviewed.  A motion was made by George Armstrong and seconded by Dave Neuner to approve the minutes as presented.  Motion carried.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Treasurers Report:  Mike Long presented the treasurer’s report.  A motion was made by Lloyd Underwood and seconded by George Armstrong to approve the treasurers’ report as presented. Motion carried.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Old Business:  none</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>New Business &#8211; Accomplishments &#8211; Mr. Wilson reported the accomplishments for the year:</p>
<ul>
<li>Replaced various shrubs and trees around the retention pond and islands</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Replaced the U.S. flag at the front entrance and trimmed the tree</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Replaced/repaired sections of the brick retaining wall around the pond</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>By Laws and Restrictions are being delivered upon request or when new owner moves in</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>The light poles around the neighborhood were all painted</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Letters have gone out to homeowners concerning parking on the street, boats, trailers, etc. parked in driveway and keeping lots maintained.</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Working with our attorney on various problems in our neighborhood that needs legal attention and collecting past due association dues</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Retained a 99.1% on lot owner collection dues (collected 223 out of 225) <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/13.0.1/72x72/1f60a.png" alt="😊" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Thanks Mike Long</li>

<p>Thanks to all residents for their help in observing Parkridge’s restrictions.  We appreciated each one of you.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The following topics were discussed at the Annual meeting:</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Danny Balle asked about the operation costs of running the street and island lighting. Should we consider upgrading to LED?</li>
</ul>
<p>President, Mike Wilson is currently looking into that. LG&amp; E owns the poles, they are metered lights. Costs will be more in the winter months.</p>
<ul>
<li>Many discussions about Waste Mgmt collection dates, use of automated equipment now. Must have everything in the 96 gallon can. We are going to contact other vendors like EcoTech and Republic Services for a cost analysis. We are currently in a very reasonable contract with WM till 2025. We anticipate a steep increase.</li>
<li>Joey (Secretary) will contact the administrator of our Neighborhood Facebook page to see if we can link the website to it. For ease of use.</li>
<li>Brad Knapp suggested the board place a notice to run for office in July on the website to allow enough time for campaigning. The annual meeting is always toward the end of September each year.</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Many discussions/questions about transparency of financial statements. At first, we considered placing all the financials on the website. After further consideration, the information is proprietary in nature and should only concern the residents of Parkridge. <p>Election Result:  the results of the election for two (2) year terms 2023 – 25 are:</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We had a total of 19 ballots counted.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Lenny Hughes, VP 13 total votes</p>
<p>Mike Long, Treasurer 15 total votes</p>
<p>Michael Pebbles, New member 16 total votes</p>
<p>April Goldschmidt, member 16 total votes</p>
<p>Debbi Spafford, member 16 total votes</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>A motion was made by Dave Neuner and seconded by George Armstrong to destroy the ballots and envelopes.   Motion carried.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>A motion was made by Mike Wilson and seconded by Greg Neuner to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m. Motion carried.</p>

<p>Mr. Wilson once again thanked everyone for coming to the meeting.</p>
